Stay in a magical
house packed with fairies, angels and all manner of fantastic creations on a
visit to the Isle of Wight’s newest hotel, The Enchanted Manor - the
brainchild of Ric & Maggie Hilton who have already notched up accolades
galore for the Island’s first 5* B&B, Koala Cottage.
Wightlink Ferries
(0871 376 4342/www.wightlink.co.uk) has teamed up with The Enchanted Manor
to offer a special introductory short break package throughout July, priced
at £261pp and saving 10% on the normal cost of a three night weekend break
or a four night midweek break. The package includes B&B accommodation and
return Wightlink car ferry crossings from Portsmouth or Lymington. As part
of the offer, guests will also be presented with a complimentary basket
containing gourmet snacks.
Ric and Maggie
Hilton have created a magical, mystical environment at their Victorian manor
house by using the fantasy paintings of Josephine Wall and extending her
fantastic vision throughout the hotel. There are colourful paintings, wall
murals, a hall bedecked with glittering lights and evocative stained glass
windows – all helping to create a tranquil, romantic atmosphere, ideal for a
soothing, relaxing break away.
There are just seven
luxury suites at The Enchanted Manor, which stands in an acre of woodland
that stretches down to the sea at south coast Niton. Large and with high
ceilings characteristic of Victorian mansions, no two suites are alike.
Each one has its own individual character defined by one of Josephine Wall’s
artworks and boasts ornate hand carved French four poster beds, Venetian
glass chandeliers and exquisite bathrooms, featuring roll top baths and
deluxe showers with water jets.
The same discount
offer and price applies to sister property Koala Cottage, located in the
picture perfect Isle of Wight village of Godshill. There are three luxury
suites at Koala Cottage, the Island’s first 5* rated B&B – highly commended
by the AA and recently placed in the top 10% of properties within its 5*
category.
