It is now a legal requirement for the haulier to advise both the Harbour Authority and Wightlink, to obtain clearance for all hazardous cargoes being presented for shipment.

All dangerous goods must be declared at time of booking and at least 24 hours in advance of travel. Failure to declare dangerous goods in advance of travel and on arrival at the terminal may result in failure of shipment.
