| Useful Hints |
|
Island roads are narrow, please travel in a clockwise direction wherever
possible (e.g. Ryde - Shanklin - Blackgang - Alum Bay - Newport - Ryde) to
minimise congestion both at stopping places and on the narrower roads. A
one-way system exists for coaches between Ventnor and Niton. Travel Ventnor
- St Lawrence - Niton westbound and Niton Whitwell - Ventnor eastbound.
When leaving Winkle Street, Calbourne, continue south until Brighstone is
reached.
Whippingham Church should be approached from the south only and coaches
should continue into East Cowes.
The Parade, Cowes, is a setting down and picking up point ONLY.
