Abnormal Loads |
|
The Portsmouth-Fishbourne route is especially suited to
the shipment of abnormal loads, as the ships have double-width ramps and
can accommodate extra long or heavy loads, subject to sufficient spread
of weight.
Vehicles with an overall height in excess of 4.20m may also
be accepted, but it is essential that prior notification is given in all
instances as shipment necessitates special scheduling.
