The shortest and fastest vehicle route to the Isle of Wight is between Lymington, in the New Forest and Yarmouth in West Wight. This 40 minute route is served by three new ferries. National Rail / South West Trains run trains to Lymington Pier and is located in close proximatey to the ferry terminal. Lymington Pier is well connected with a branch line connecting to the mainline London - Southampton - Bournemouth service at Brockenhurst.
