A 10mph speed limit will also apply and will be strictly enforced by the use of average speed cameras. Drivers exceeding this limit will be issued a fixed penalty notice of £80 and/or exclusion from Wightlink property and services.
Cyclists
Please be advised that the 10MPH speed restriction applies to all cyclists as well as vehicles, for health and safety reasons.
Following a recent incident all cyclists are reminded of the speed limit and that they MUST dismount their bicycles on the approach to and in the Terminal Buildings and also on the apporach to the entrance/exit to the esplanade.
Failure to observe the above restrictions and disregard for the safety of our customers will regrettably result in a ban from all Wightlink premises and vessels.
