Season Tickets
Season tickets are a convenient and economic way to travel regularly.

Student Season Tickets

- A Wightlink photo ID card, if you do not already have one bring a passport sized photograph.
- Secondary Student up to18 rate;
- A completed Application form which has been stamped and verified by the school/college
- To be in full time secondary education and no older than 18 years of age.
- Student rate;
- A valid NUS, Validate UK or IW College ID card
Academic Season Tickets
For teachers and students full time at school, college or university, academic season tickets are valid to 31 July.

- To be student or teachers of any age
- A completed Application form which has been stamped and verified by the school/college/university

Annual Season Ticket by Direct Debit

What you need:
- A completed Direct Debit Application Form.
- A Wightlink photo ID card, if you do not already have one please bring a passport sized photograph.
- For academic season tickets a completed Application form which has been stamped and verified by the school/college/university
Refunds
Refunds on annual season tickets are calculated at complete unused months less the cost of one month. Refunds on 90 day season tickets are calculated at complete unused weeks less the cost of 3 weeks. No refunds will be given on 7 day or 30 day tickets. Applications must be made in writing by insured (special delivery) post (enclosing the ticket) to: Cash Office, Wightlink Ltd, PO Box 59, Portsmouth, PO1 2XB.
Holidays
Extensions are not allowed on season tickets, however you now get an extra 7 days free when you buy a 90 day, or 30 days free when you buy an annual season ticket. No additional days or extensions on academic, 7 day or 30 day tickets.
Free Car Return Tickets with Annual Season Ticket
When purchasing a new adult annual season ticket you will be given two free return trips for a car, driver and up to 3 passengers. When claiming your free return tickets, you must show your annual season ticket and photo card as proof of entitlement along with the coupon given at the time of purchase. Coupons are not transferable, the annual season ticket holder must be travelling in the vehicle and the coupons are valid for travel within 12 months from the date of season ticket issue. Travel may be excluded on certain sailings on peak dates (including 28-31 March, 5-7 & 12-14 April, 24 & 25 May, 13, 14 & 17 June, 5, 6 & 9 September and every Friday & Saturday from 19 July to 24 August - all dates are subject to change). This offer does not apply to Academic season tickets.
Terms
All season tickets are valid only for use by the person named and with a matching photocard. Lost, stolen or damaged beyond recognition tickets will not be replaced. All tickets and travel are subject to Wightlink terms and conditions of carriage. Issued February 2011.

Payment
Credit and Debit Cards
You can pay for your ticket at one of our ports, online or by telephone using Visa Credit or Debit, Electron, Mastercard or American Express cards.
Cash
Cash is accepted at terminals for tickets bought on the day of travel, but please be aware that vehicle tickets are often cheaper when booked and paid for at least the day before travel.
PayPal
You can now pay for your online bookings via PayPal. PayPal is the safer, simpler, smarter way to pay online. All you need is an email address to make secure online payments using your debit, credit card, bank account or PayPal balance.
Tesco Clubcard Travel Tokens
Only valid on Standard for cars up to 6m in length. Bookings must be made by telephone at least 14 days in advance of travel and can not be combined with any other promotion or discount. Call us on 0871 376 1000 for details (calls cost 7p per minute plus network extras). More
Cheques
We do not accept cheques as payment in any of our terminals, retail outlets or onboard our vessels.
Postal Orders
Postal orders are accepted for advance bookings (for some ticket types only) made by telephone at least 2 weeks before travel.
Administration Fee
A £4 administration fee will apply to most vehicle bookings not made online, or £10 when bought at a ticket office without an advance reservation. No supplements are payable for online reservations. All bookings must be paid for at the time of booking.
