We know how important it is to provide up to date travel information to our customers. We update the Service status section of our website routinely every morning and again if more than one sailing is delayed by 20 minutes or more since the last message was posted. We’ll post another update if delays reach an hour or longer and when we return normal service.
On Wednesday, 24 May 2017 our Portsmouth Car Ferry Terminal will be closed for most of the day and sailings will be operating to and from the Portsmouth International Port (Cruise and Cross Channel Ferry Terminal).
We will only accept booked vehicles during this time and foot passengers can only travel on our Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde Pier Head passenger catamaran route.

Impact on services & sailings: extra services addedThis timetable update was added: May 11, 2017
Commencing 13 September 2016 the car park at Gunwharf Road will be closed to the public throughout improvements works at Portsmouth Car Ferry Terminal.
Wightlink are now unable to sell Parking season tickets until late summer. This is because parking and space at our car park will be extremely limited over the next stage of our terminal improvement works.
Alternative parking is available at our Lymington terminal. We will advise passengers if we’re aware of any alternative parking arrangements that can be made.
We’re very sorry for the inconvenience this will cause.
Where are the nearest alternative car parks?
The closest car parks are at Gunwharf Quays (7 minute walk) and Wickham street (11 minute walk)
