Yarmouth Bridge Closure & Maintenance (A3054)

Island Roads will be conducting essential maintenance to Yarmouth Bridge from 09:00 to 16:00 on both Monday, 2 October and Tuesday, 3 October 2017.

The bridge will be closed to vehicles during these times and there will be diversions in place, which will lengthen journey times to and from our Yarmouth car ferry terminal for customers that would usually use the bridge. Customers are advised to allow additional time for their journey.

Pedestrians will still be able to use the bridge during the works, though there may be some short waiting periods at times.

The alternative route for traffic during the works will be;  A3054 Bridge Road, River Road, Tennyson Road and Bouldnor Road, B3401 Thorley Road, Wilmingham Lane, B3399 Newport Road, A3055 Afton Road, School Green Road, Tennyson Road and The Avenue, A3054 Colwell Road, Hill Lane and Halletts Shute.   Light traffic up to 6ft 6in in width can also use Hooke Hill, Copse Lane and Pixley Hill.

For more information, please visit the Island Roads website and view the Islandwide roadworks live map (www.islandroads.com).
