Changes to Wightlink’s fleet configuration

Next year we’ll change how we configure our fleet. One of our W-class ships, which currently operates between Yarmouth and Lymington, will move to operate on the Fishbourne~Portsmouth route. It will replace St Helen, which will be retired from our fleet.

This change will protect service levels and improve the customer experience on the busy 24 hour Fishbourne~Portsmouth route whilst having minimal impact on the Yarmouth~Lymington route, where the core timetable (including the first and last sailings of the day) will remain unchanged.

Wiggle Wight Winter Cycling event 29 and 30 November 2014

Good luck from Wightlink to everyone taking part in the Wiggle Wight Winter Cycling event on Saturday 29 November and Sunday 30 November 2014.

As the popular event starts in Yarmouth, we’re expecting sailings on our Lymington to Yarmouth route to be very busy over the weekend.

We advise all customers, including foot passengers and Multilink Pass Holders, to book their crossing early and to check in 30 minutes before departure to avoid disappointment.
