Academic Season Tickets are designed for teachers or lecturers full time at school, college or university and are valid from 1 September 2017 to 31 July 2018.

Season Ticket product rules

How can I get a Season Ticket?

Season tickets can be bought from all Wightlink Ticket Offices.
You’ll need to bring:

Season Ticket Photo IDto be shown at time of purchase and for travel Passport photo also required Application form and additional requirements
Adult, Child (5-15) Annual and 90 day Season Ticket only N/A (we reserve the right to ask for proof of age for child Season tickets)
Direct Debit Completed Direct Debit application form.
Student (16-18) 90 day Season Ticket only Completed application form which has been stamped and verified by the school / college
Student (18+) Valid NUS/Student Rider/UCAS/NUS Extra card (for apprentices) or IW College Student ID card.
Academic Completed application form which has been stamped and verified by the school/college/university

Photo ID
We accept photo driving licence, Passport or HM forces ID cards. Alternatively, bring a passport sized Photo ID card with you at the time of purchase and we can issue a Wightlink Photo ID card to use with your Mutlilink Pass or Season Ticket. Student’s aged 18+ need to bring a valid NUS/Student Rider/ISIC (International Student identity Card)/NUS Extra card or College/University photo ID cards with an expiry date.

Photo ID

We accept photo driving licence, Passport or HM forces ID cards. Alternatively, bring a passport sized Photo ID card with you at the time of purchase and we can issue a Wightlink Photo ID card to use with your Season Ticket.

Logging into your Season Ticket account

First you will need an online account that’s connected to your Season Ticket. If you’ve not already set up for this then fill out the Multilink and Season Ticket online setup form and we’ll get you set up. You can then login online.

Topping-up your Season Ticket

You can top-up your Season Ticket online, by phone, or by visiting our Wightlink Ticket Office.

Please note: Once you have purchased a Season Ticket, it cannot be topped-up to a different duration and the Season Ticket will be extended by the relevant duration from date of top-up.

Signup for free Travel Updates

We now offer free Travel Updates via SMS or email by simply signing up online or completing a form at one of our Ticket Offices. You can even choose which route you would like to receive Travel Updates for.

Bicycles and mobility scooters

Mobility Scooters must be battery powered.
Electric bikes must retain the ability to be pedalled by the rider.
Pushbikes, e-bikes and battery powered Mobility scooters travel free of charge when a customer purchases a foot passenger ticket.
