How Wightlink use and protect your personal information

You cannot unknowingly reveal personal information by browsing our website or by making online bookings.
All personal information that is captured by our online booking service is by your permission only.

There are areas on our online booking service where we will ask you to complete personal details about yourself and also, where you have indicated your consent, to receive notification of special offers either from our online booking system or via our special offers section on our website.

Wightlink use the information which it holds about you to process your order. Information collected on the placing of an order will include your name, email address, delivery address, credit or debit card number, security number, start and expiry date, and if applicable, vehicle make/model, registration number, length and height. This allows Wightlink to process and fulfil your order and to notify you of the status of your order. Your telephone number will be required in order to contact you should there be a problem with your order. This number may be given to couriers used by Wightlink.
