Kaiser Chiefs
headline Friday night; Sex Pistols headline Saturday night and
The Police will
headline the
Festival with a
closing night
performance on
Sunday in
the beautiful
surroundings of Seaclose Park,
Newport.
Kaiser Chiefs
have undoubtedly
established themselves as one of Britain's most successful bands of the
past few years, having scooped 3 x Brit awards for Best Rock Act,
Best Live Act and Best Group plus an NME award for Best
Album.
Saturday night
is sure to see iconic punk rockers Sex Pistols
deliver a unique
show. This year marked the 30th anniversary of the Sex Pistols album

Pistols and what better way to celebrate than by being part of the
Isle of Wight's 3-day holiday in the sun. It will be
The Police taking to the stage for the coveted Sunday night headline
slot. The Police
will return to
Europe in 2008
as part of their Billboard Award winning tour, and the Isle of
Wight
performance will
be the only UK
festival show
for the trio.

in its seventh
year since its
reincarnation in
2002, the
festival brings
together 50,000
free spirited,
music loving,
friends,
families and
Festival goers
in front of one
almighty stage,
in a simply
stunning
setting. It is
undoubtedly one
of the most
distinctive and
well-loved
festivals on the
calendar.
The full line up for the
three day event promises to be packed with
the best of British and top international acts. Over the past seven years
acts have included the Rolling Stones, Coldplay, REM, The Who and David
Bowie as well as stars like Amy Winehouse, James Morrison, Snow Patrol,
Keane and the Fratellis.
