Dog Is Dead 'Shot' on location music video released
Following their basement sessions success at Bestival this year, this indie pop band filmed a music video at Blackgang Chine to support their new single, Hands Down, coming out at the end of October. The storyline had the band members pretending to be park staff who return after work to enjoy the rides and attractions all to themselves!
The eleven hour video shoot, which was eventually completed at 1am has been turned into a fascinating four and a half minute music video which reflects the youthful enthusiasm of what is a very good song!
The young Nottingham five-piece Dog Is Dead exude the quiet self-assurance of a band confident their songs are very, very good indeed. They're not the only ones with faith in their abilities: they've been signed to Atlantic, and the label clearly views them as a future banker. So said The Guardian review in September 2011.
Take a look here...
This is not the first time that the eccentric fantasy of Blackgang Chine has caught the eye of music video directors. In April this year, pop band I Am Arrows also filmed their music video there following in the footsteps of earlier bands such as Level 42 and kids TV characters The Teletubbies.
