Fort Victoria Model Railway
« Back to all attractions in Family Parks
The HO scale Fort Victoria Model Railway was designed and built with the simple aim of being the biggest and best in Britain and is currently among the top three in the world. No compromises have been made in procuring the best trains, buildings and scenery with amazing detail and craftsmanship.
The German setting for the Railway was necessitated by Marklin who is the only supplier offering a three rail system advanced enough to allow full computer control, resulting in a vast choice of buildings and models of which over 360 are used at Fort Victoria.
A Perfect family day out
Fort Victoria Model Railway is the largest in the world to be completely computer controlled - each locomotive is controlled by a microcomputer which receives its instructions from the standard personal computer which is in overall control.
The Fort Victoria Model Railway is part of Fort Victoria Country Park a great day out for all the family, with many great attractions including and Aquarium, Underwater Archaeology Centre and Planetarium. There is also free parking, a cafe, fun woodland walks and a beach.
