Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Needles Park is well known for its scenic chairlift ride which gives you the best view of the Isle of Wight's most famous landmark, the Needles Rocks and lighthouse. From the beach you can get a fantastic view of the amazing multi coloured sand cliffs that have drawn people to this site since Victorian times. With 21 distinct colours of naturally occurring sand Alum Bay is a unique geological site that has over the years attracted sand collectors world wide, most notably Queen Victoria. It really is a must for any visitor to the Isle of Wight to visit our sand shop and try your hand at making your very own sand souvenir.
The Needles Park is a great attraction for families; with plenty of fun packed rides to entertain the kids including the tea cup ride, carousel, Jurassic golf and probably the most popular of all Junior Driver where kids get the chance to drive around a track and get their very own Isle of Wight driving licence as a souvenir!
The Needles Park also has a great range of catering facilities including restaurant, licensed bar and outdoor kiosks serving a wide range of food and drinks.
