Appuldurcombe House on the Isle of Wight
« Back to all attractions in History and Culture
Once the grandest and most striking house on the Isle of Wight, Appuldurcombe's 18th century English baroque elegance is still noticable in the partially restored building. Ornamental grounds which were landscaped by Capability Brown are a perfect place for a picnic.
Falconry displays are a highlight at this, one of the grandest of the Isle of Wight's attractions. For more information have a look on the Owl & Falconry Centre page.
Gift shop and Café in the Falconry centre.
