Chessell Pottery lies in the heart of the beautiful, unspoilt West Wight countryside. Comprising a working pottery, decorating studio (where you can have a go at decorating your own hand made English pottery) courtyard café and gift barn, there’s something for everyone, not to mention the ‘Ultimate Island Cream Tea’.

Enjoy a High Tea for Two... a selection of triangle-cut sandwiches, award winning home-made fruit scones with strawberry jam and real clotted cream, Island made cake and a pot of Fairtrade tea for two. All served on a pretty, traditional High Tea cake stand on Chessell Ware plates, hand decorated at the pottery with our own strawberry design.

Sunday 3rd April - Mothers Day Special Offer - Mum’s tea and cake is on us this Mothering Sunday, for all mums decorating in our studio!

Saturday 2nd - Sunday 17th April - Easter at Chessel Pottery - Create a total Easter gift at the ‘Creation Station’.
Chessell Pottery opens its doors for the 2011 season on Saturday 2 April. For the first couple of weeks, customers will be able to decorate their own half pint mug and after it’s been glazed and fired, stop by the ‘Creation Station’ at the pottery to finish it off with a complimentary chocolate egg, cellophane and pretty ribbon.
