Cycles For Hire on the Isle of Wight

As a result of its new partnership with thewightcycle.com, rental bikes can now be hired and picked up from Wightlink’s Ryde Pier Head terminal, Wightlink's Yarmouth terminal or alternatively, you can have your cycles delivered direct to your accommodation or any of our convenient collection/drop-off centres at: Ventnor - Newport - Shanklin - Ryde - Yarmouth.  

Cycles for adults and children can be hired daily from 10am to 6pm at a cost of £14 for adults and £12 for children or weekly for £60 and £56 respectively. Child seats and trailers are also available.  

All rental bikes come complete with a helmet, puncture repair kit, pump and other essentials.  Thewightcycle.com also offers a same day bag delivery service for luggage and offers a cycle drop off & collection facility.

Kerry Jackson, Wightlink Marketing Manager said: “The Isle of Wight is a brilliant place for cyclists with a specially-designated cycle route from Newport to Sandown as well as great off-road tracks and quiet country lines within Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  

“Wightlink has a long history of supporting cycling on the Isle of Wight and so we are delighted to be making this new service available our terminal.  We already carry cycles free on our ferries for those people who want to bring their own bikes but for visitors who prefer to hire the new rental centre will make it easy and convenient to do so.”
