Important Travel Information

Please be advised that owing to a large number of passengers travelling to the Bestival, all passengers including foot passengers wishing to travel are strongly advised to make an advanced booking. Passengers without a confirmed booking could be subject to severe delays.

Tickets and return ferry packages

Bestival tickets are available for entrance into the Bestival site on either Thursday or Friday.  Please ensure that the correct date of entrance is selected when making your booking.  Wild Copse tickets are also available.  We recommend that you purchase your car park ticket in advance (£11.50), before you travel.   Once you have made your boking please contact our call centre and they can add a car park ticket to your booking.

Wild Copse Camping

After last year’s massive success, The Wild Copse, our new premium camping area, nestled amongst a beautiful wooded expanse near to our healing area The Soul Park, is back for 2013! We know that sometimes festival camping can get busy and maybe a little rambunctious and so we thought some of you would like the opportunity to enjoy a little more space, and some top-notch facilities and so The Wild Copse was born.

The Wild Copse has its own car park (included in your ticket price) and then it’s just a short walk to where you can pitch your tent in an area that will be limited to a set number of ticket-holders to ensure there is plenty of space for everyone (& then some).

Included in The Wild Copse area will be posh toilets and showers (which will really come into their own when you want to refresh yourself in the morning having danced your socks off at Bollywood) as well as a great food and seating area and more.

The above ticket package prices are based on adults.  Ticket prices are also available for  Students (full-time students only. Valid NUS or ISIC ID required at the box office, no other student ID accepted), Teens (age 13-17) and Children (age 12 & under).  Please select the criteria when making your boking

Regrettably we cannot post to addresses outside of the UK. If you are purchasing tickets from outside of the UK they will be available for collection at the Ticket Office on the day of your departure.

You will receive confirmation of your booking but please note that your tickets/wristbands will not be dispatched until nearer the time.

Weekend ferry inclusive packages for Bestival 2013 can be bought using a Deposit Ticket Scheme (DTS) that allows tickets to be paid for over 3 payments.  The DTS is available to any customer buying a ferry inclusive ticket package between Friday 8th February and Monday 8th April 2013.  Please click HERE to download further details and terms & conditions of the Deposit Ticket Scheme.

Validity & Travel Restrictions:

Valid for ferry travel 4 September - 10 September 2013. Vehicle inclusive tickets are valid for travel at anytime at the weekend. Car tickets are valid for a car up to 6m long and 2.25m high. Foot passenger tickets are valid at all times between these dates.

Please be advised that owing to a large number of passengers travelling to the Bestival, all passengers including foot passengers wishing to travel from Lymington on 5 & 6 September and from Yarmouth on 9 September are strongly advised to make an advanced booking. Passengers without a confirmed booking could be subject to severe delays.

Motorhomes/ Caravanettes:

Motorhomes/caravanettes can travel on car tickets up to 6m in length and 2.25m in height if buying a ticket. HOWEVER a campervan ticket will need to be purchased in advance, you can purchase a campaervan permit from Ticketline 0844 888 4410.

Campsite:

The campsite opens on Thursday 5 September and closes on Monday 9 September 2012.

Tickets:

Maximum 6 Bestival tickets per transaction. Multiple bookings and group bookings are not permited. Festival & ferry tickets are non-refundable, and strictly non-transferable.

Charges:

The rates quoted above include all booking fees and special delivery postage of £8.50 will be added to each booking.

Children & infants:

Teens aged 13 - 17 years and children aged 12 and under on 05/09/13 qualify for discounted rates. Children aged 12 and under on 05/09/13 gain entrance free into the Bestival site, but a ticket must still be obtained when booking.  Teen/child and infant tickets will not be sold without an adult ticket.

Students:

Must be in possesion of a valid NUS or ISIC ID card

Foot Passenger Transport:

Please be aware that bus connections are available at Ryde and Yarmouth but no direct public transport connections are available at the Fishbourne Terminal.

Wristbands are strictly non-duplicate if stolen, lost or destroyed in error.

Bestival Ticket Terms & Conditions
- Proof of age may be required for all ticket types. Please ensure that you have ID with you in case you are asked. Failure to provide such ID may result in you being asked to leave the festival.

- Adult Tickets can only be used by persons age 18 or over. Teen (age 13-17) Tickets can only be purchased by persons over the age of 30. By purchasing a Child (age 12 & under) Ticket or a Teen (age 13-17) Ticket you are confirming that you are either the parent or legal guardian of the teen or child for whom you are purchasing.

- Child and Teen ticket holders can only enter the festival with the person who purchased their ticket i.e. their parent or legal guardian. Any Teen Ticket holders attempting to enter the festival without this person will be denied entry to the festival. For safety reasons, any persons attempting to enter the festival with a Child Ticket holder that they are not the parent or legal guardian will be denied entry.

- Each adult attending can accompany up to a maximum of 2 Teen Ticket holders. Teen Ticket holders must camp in the same location as their families. Teen Ticket holders are not allowed in the arena field unaccompanied after 10pm. Teen ticket holders must be accompanied by their parent/guardian at all times after 10pm.

- Child Ticket holders are not allowed in the arena or campsites unaccompanied at any time.

- Prior written permission is needed by Bestival Ltd to use Bestival tickets in any sales promotions, media, marketing, reward programmes, staff incentives, raffles, auctions or general competitions. 'Bestival' is a registered trademark; the Bestival logo and any related Bestival artwork cannot be used without written permission of Bestival Ltd.
