Wightlink’s senior managers will be on board car ferries on both the Fishbourne-Portsmouth and Yarmouth-Lymington routes in December and at Portsmouth Harbour FastCat terminal to listen to customers’ opinions about ferry services, wish them the compliments of the season and hand out mince pies and tea/coffee*.

“We hold Meet the Manager sessions throughout the year and always enjoy meeting customers and finding out their views on our services,” says Chief Executive Keith Greenfield. “This time we will also be briefing customers about our £45million investment in our new flagship Victoria of Wight and the completion of port improvements at both Fishbourne and Portsmouth, which has already improved punctuality on the route and cut congestion.”

Several of Wightlink’s senior managers, will be available at the times below:

  • *Thursday 7 December: On board the 16:00 sailing from Portsmouth and 17:00 from Fishbourne
  • *Tuesday 12 December: On board the 16:00 sailing from Lymington and 17:05 from Yarmouth
  • Monday 18 December: At Portsmouth Harbour FastCat terminal between 16:00 and 18:00

Plans are being finalised for music on board several Wightlink sailings on board ships in the run-up to Christmas to include performances by members of Newport Jazz Club and a string quartet from the Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra. If any other Island musical groups would like to play on board Wightlink ferries, they should contact Karen Woods at karenwoods@wightlink.co.uk

*Non-landing foot passenger tickets will be available for customers and Islanders who want to meet the managers on board the ferries. Contact feedback@wightlink.co.uk.
