Godshill Model Village

This family-owned garden and Model Village opened to the public in 1952.  As a Royal Horticultural Society Partner Garden, RHS members are offered the chance to enjoy this quirky setting.  It’s an unexpected place to find such an ornate garden. Godshill Model Village is set in two acres of artistically landscaped gardens, home to a number of unusual and ornamental trees and shrubs. It’s a truly beautiful display – a must for any garden enthusiast.

Set amongst the trees you will find faithful recreations of painstakingly crafted local buildings, with little Islanders adding a touch of humour here and there!  Come and see the airfield, working railway and mind-bending model of the model of the model… Take up the Family Quiz challenge or “Spot the Squirrels” hidden around the garden to keep our smaller visitors entertained.

The Old Vicarage Shop stocks great gifts, at prices to suit everyone. On a fine day soak up the atmosphere with tea and cake at the Nammet Hut.
