Marwell’s biggest ever exhibit, Tropical House: Energy for Life is now open! This marks the second phase of a £17m investment programme for the zoo over the next 8-10 years, creating improved habitats for animals and more immersive experiences for guests.
The £8m exhibit spans two levels offering fantastic vantage points across a lush, tropical canopy and the opportunity to experience the captivating life of the forest floor. Share the habitat and enjoy uninterrupted, close-up views of new, colourful and charismatic mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and insects.
Plus, from 5 April to 1 September 2019, don’t miss BRICKOSAURS! A world exclusive, prehistoric LEGO® brick experience that will see 50 astonishing dinosaur sculptures inhabit Marwell Zoo, including the biggest ever move-able LEGO brick dinosaur model – a whopping 8 metre T-Rex! Created by LEGO brick building company Bright Bricks, BRICKOSAURS is sure to excite LEGO and dinosaur enthusiasts alike.
What’s more, spend time with Marwell’s playful primates at ‘Lemur Loop’. Explore the environment of different types of lemur while learning about the evolution of the species. With a beautiful landscaped setting, both indoors and out, the walkthrough lemur exhibit promises a truly immersive experience.
Visitors can enjoy a range of daily animal talks, plus, with five adventure playgrounds, a rail train and free road train, there’s plenty to occupy your little ones while you relax and soak up the surroundings.
