Vacancy: Café Steward (Afloat – Fixed Term)

Our Retail Operation Teams are looking for ideally barista-trained, passionate, motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our teams on board our ferries on our Portsmouth Gunwharf to Fishbourne route.

  • Portsmouth Gunwharf to Fishbourne ferries

  • 20-35 rostered hours per week across 3-5 days, covering weekends and bank holidays

    Starting at our Portsmouth Gunwharf port with earliest start time of 7.30 and latest finish time of 20.30

  • £10.44 per hour (£8.91 per hour whilst training)

Key elements of the role are:

  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Making the full range of drinks and beverages including Barista
  • Providing a fast and friendly counter service
  • Accurate till operation
  • Strong presentation of a range of food and beverages
  • Accurate stock takes and checks
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Focus on health and safety and food standards
