Vacancy: ISM Administrator

We are looking to recruit an ISM Administrator to join our Safety Health & Environment (SHE) team based at our Gunwharf Port in Portsmouth.

  • Gunwharf Port, Portsmouth

  • 30 hours per week

  • £28,000 per year

Key elements of the role are:

  • Assist in all aspects of implementing, maintaining, and developing the Company’s Safety Management System in accordance with the International Safety Management Code.
  • Assist in ensuring that Safety Management System’s documentation, certification and all survey records are suitably and sufficiently maintained and distributed throughout the business.
  • Assist in gathering and maintaining data for Regulatory requirements.
  • Attend internal and external meetings and audits relating to the Safety Management System.
  • Manage the internal elements of the SHE Function.

The ISM Administrator assists the Designated Person Ashore and the SHE Function in delivering overall compliance with the Company’s Safety Management System and other Legislative and Regulatory requirements relating to the operation.

Applicants will need to:

  • be prepared to constructively challenge
