Young or old, experienced or novice, slip on your running shoes between Sunday 24 and Sunday 31 May for the Isle of Wight Festival of Running 2020, with 5K and 10K routes taking you through some of the most picturesque areas on the Island.
The programme kicks off with the Freshwater 5K, a cross country 5K circular route through the beautiful countryside of Freshwater. There’s also the Tapnell 10K, a circular route to Tapnell Farm through some of the spectacular West Wight Countryside.
The Needles Half Marathon is one of the toughest and most scenic half marathons in the country, with the 13.1 mile route taking you over down and heathland, plus you’ll even catch a glimpse of the Island’s most iconic landmark – The Needles.
The newest addition to the programme is the Duver Dash on Sunday, 24 May. It will offer a 5km route for adults and a 1km route for children, incorporating the stunning view of Nodes Point and Priory Bay beaches.
