Isle of Wight Story Festival

The Isle of Wight Story Festival is a special place for children and families to have fun together, creating, inspiring and imagining. This February half term, the festival, returns to Quay Arts in Newport with appearances from some of the biggest names in children’s books.

The 2027 festival will feature adventures from The World of Bunny Vs Monkey with Jamie Smart, a tale of a tribe saving Pumpkin from Chitra Soundar, Kes Gray, creator of the Oi Frog! series, Island author Kieran Larwood and many more.

There will also be theatre performances for all ages, including The Elves and the Shoemaker and Blank Canvas at The Department, Ryde, with more shows still to be announced. Across the weekend, you can get creative with a variety of workshops and activities designed to spark imaginations.
