IOW Steam Railway: Island Steam Fair

Enjoy an action-packed festival of steam at this year’s Island Steam Show.

Now in its 49th year, you’ll be able to enjoy a fabulous collection of vintage modes of transport, traditional fairground rides and live entertainment.

At the heart of the show are the mighty steam traction engines, including a stunning collection of road rollers, showman’s engines and miniatures.

Head to the main arena for a busy programme of entertainment, including the Traction Engine Games, before sampling the vast range of fairground games and rides.

You’ll also be able to explore a rich variety of vintage cars, military vehicles, motorbikes and tractors that have each been lovingly restored.

Train Story Discovery Centre will be open with its collection of locomotives and carriages spanning 150 years of Isle of Wight railway history and all ticket holders enjoy free entry to their partner attraction, Haven Falconry, and watch their daily flying in the main arena.

Don’t miss out on the live music, with a stellar lineup of performers between 12:00 and 16:00 each day.
