Following the success and popularity of the recent Isle of Wight Walking Festival, TWO new dates are now announced for next year.
Organisers Visit Isle of Wight are delighted to share dates for a spring and autumn festival in 2022, following a bumper year for the festival this year, with over 100 walks across the Island.
The Autumn 2022 Walking Festival will take place between 8 and 16 October 2022 beneath a canopy of fiery changing leaves, offering a chance to discover the best of the Island at this special time of year.
This year’s autumn Isle of Wight Walking Festival saw over 1600 people take part, from the shortest walk at 0.5 miles for the ‘Wessex Cancer Trust Starlit Trail’ at Ventnor Botanic Gardens and the longest walk at 18.5 miles from Kingston Smallholdings for ‘Goat-ober’. Together walkers covered a combined distance of 413 miles following the Island’s 500+ miles of footpaths. Impressive!
