Portsmouth Pride

6 June 2026
Southsea Common

Since 2002, Portsmouth Pride has been an annual event celebrating the LGBTQ+ community in Portsmouth. Over the years, it has grown considerably.

Portsmouth Pride has always been more than just one day. It’s a year-round programme of events across the city, open to everyone who lives, works or studies in Portsmouth.

On 6 June, the main event returns to Southsea Common, with a bumper celebration planned as part of the Portsmouth100 events. It will shine a spotlight on the incredible work of the volunteer-run local charity behind one of the UK’s biggest completely free and unfenced Pride events. The event features a packed programme of entertainment, including performances from Liberty X and Drag Race UK star Tayris Mongardi, alongside a vibrant community stage.

Visitors can also enjoy a wide range of stalls, food and drink, and a fun fair, making it a fantastic day out for all ages.

General admission to the event is free, with VIP tickets available from £25. All proceeds from VIP tickets go towards supporting the Portsmouth Pride charity.
