Situated in the beautiful heart of the Isle of Wight, Robin Hill Country Park is an all-season family destination. Let the children blow off steam in a safe, expansive and natural environment, while the more sedate members of your party relax in the gorgeous gardens. There are daytime and nighttime adventures, incredible rides, enthralling displays, and lots more to enjoy.
The award-winning Robin Hill Country Park is one of the Isle of Wight’s most beloved attractions. The combination of beautiful gardens, thrilling rides, fascinating falconry displays and adventure play makes the park a popular place for children and adults alike. Robin Hill is an Adventure Park, a Botanical Park, and a Nature Park all in one!
While younger children enjoy the charming Cowes Express ride, older or more adventurous kids will love the toboggan run, which shoots downhill for a quarter of a mile – sometimes reaching speeds of 25mph! There’s also a 4D HD cinema, a pair of slippery slides, a swinging galleon, a giant maze, plenty of adventure play areas (for all ages), and much, much more.
Robin Hill Adventure Park prides itself on its falconry displays, which occur daily (depending on the weather). Participants get to watch, learn about and even interact with the much-loved assortment of birds of prey, including owls, Harris Hawks, and more.
Peace-seekers can stroll through the Park’s woodland walks, peruse the sculpture trail, or simply relax in the gardens. The woodlands at Robin Hill are hundreds of years old and home to a dazzling array of flora and fauna. In the spring, the woodland glades erupt with bluebells, and it’s a riot of beauty and colour throughout summer and autumn. Even in the winter, you can enjoy the tranquil peace of the ponds and streams which punctuate the Robin Hill woods.
Rare red squirrels make their home on the Isle of Wight and Robin Hill Country Park is one of the best places to see them. Visitors have been enjoying getting up close and personal with these rare residents of Robin Hill’s woods for years. Now, they can even experience what it’s like to be a squirrel! The Robin Hill Country Park Squirrel Run is a wonderfully engineered spiraling mesh tube, suspended in the woodland Canopy Skywalk. Children can scamper from treetop to treetop, squirrel-style.
The Park is open most of the year, but opening and closing times do vary. For more details, visit the park’s website calendar.
