This summer, Wildheart Animal Sanctuary is celebrating 50 years of animal rescue with a 5K fancy dress fun run – and you’re invited to be part of it.

Set within the Sanctuary grounds and taking in sweeping coastal views, this is your chance to do something a little different. Think sea air, big smiles and a finish line worth running for.

Come as a cheetah, a lion, a zebra – or whatever your wild side looks like. Whether you’re chasing a time or simply soaking it all in, this family-friendly run is open to all ages and abilities.

As you make your way through the final stretch, you’ll pass by Frosty the white lioness before crossing the finish line to cheers and celebrations.

And the best part? Every step you take helps support the rescued animals in the Sanctuary’s care.

The details:

• Tickets: £16 per adult, £12 per child, 25% discount for teams of 4 or more (Registration includes entry to the run, free parking, entry to the Sanctuary on the day and a medal at the finish line)
• Family and friends can get 10% off Sanctuary entry on the day
• Fundraising target: £50 per person
• Participants who raise £50 or more by 12:00 on 21 May will receive a free event t-shirt to wear on the day!
