Performed by the full Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, this epic symphonic concert celebrates two of cinema’s greatest composers in a thrilling head‑to‑head. The concert forms part of a special Centenary Concert Series celebrating 100 years of Portsmouth’s city status.

You’ll hear instantly recognisable music from some of the most loved films of all time, including:

John Williams – Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, ET, Schindler’s List and more
Hans Zimmer – Gladiator, Interstellar, The Da Vinci Code, The Last Samurai, Batman Begins and beyond

Set against the impressive backdrop of Portsmouth Guildhall, this summer spectacular brings legendary movie soundtracks to life under the stars. Gates open at 18:00, so arrive early, settle in and soak up the atmosphere.
