On the east coast of the Isle of Wight, near the pretty town of Bembridge, you’ll find Nodes Point Holiday Park.

Managed by Parkdean Resorts, it has beautiful views out to sea and is well located for visits into the neighbouring towns of Seaview and St Helens.

Perfect for families, Nodes Point is home to an adventure playground, sports facilities and an indoor swimming pool.

Choose from caravans, lodges and chalets sleeping up to eight people.

The Bay Colwell

For a relaxing beachside getaway with stunning coastal views, The Bay Colwell is the perfect holiday destination on the Isle of Wight.

Found near Totland on the west coast of the Island, the park is run by Away Resorts and is ideally-located for visits to the picturesque towns of Yarmouth and Freshwater. It’s also only a couple of miles away from the IOW’s most famous landmark, The Needles.

You’ll find an indoor swimming pool on site as well as a coffee house and seasonal entertainment.

Choose from lodges and cottages sleeping up to six people – some of which even come with hot tubs.

Cheverton Copse

Just outside the popular seaside resort town of Sandown, Cheverton Copse is a family-run holiday park that promises a picturesque countryside getaway.

Great for families, the caravan site is completely car-free (with a separate car park nearby) so children can play safely. There are three kids play areas, a games field and a wealth of nearby cycling and walking routes.

Pick from 57 caravan units in a variety of grades and at a range of prices. Each come with a TV, fridge, microwave, gas cooker, shower and toilet.

On-site restaurants are common, offering meals and snacks throughout the day, with some offering a takeaway option. You’ll often find a bar at your chosen holiday park, too, serving drinks late into the evening.

Getting to the Isle of Wight

Pick from one of Wightlink’s three convenient ferry routes which link Hampshire with the Isle of Wight and can be across the Solent in as little as 22 minutes.

Your choice of routes

  • Lymington – Yarmouth: Our most picturesque route and the quickest if you’re brining your car, with a journey time of just 40 minutes. Links the New Forest, near Southampton, with the east coast of the Isle of Wight.

    Takes cars and foot passengers

  • Portsmouth – Fishbourne: Our most popular route, ideal for visiting central and West Wight. The city of Portsmouth comes with excellent transport links and you’ll be on the Island within 45 minutes.

    Takes cars and foot passengers

  • Portsmouth Harbour – Ryde Pier Head: Our quickest route, but only available if you’re travelling on foot. Our Portsmouth Harbour port is found inside the city’s major train station – and only a moment’s walk from its biggest bus interchange – so it’s ideal for public transport connections. You’ll be on the Island in just 22 minutes.
