Accompanied child discount

Escort a child across the Solent for less

To travel unaccompanied on our Isle of Wight ferries, children must be 12 or over.

We understand that there may be times when you need to drop off or pick up children under 12 on the other side of the Solent, so we offer an Accompanied Child discount card for adults.

It allows you to travel across and back on the very next sailing for less.

How to get an Accompanied Child Discount Card

Visit any of our Ticket Offices and fill out an application form – to save time, this can be done in advance using the PDF form below.

You’ll need to bring along the birth certificate of the child you are accompanying and provide a passport-sized photo for the accompanying adult.

Please read the form carefully to make sure it’s the right ticket for the journeys you make. You will need to be travelling with the child – either on the way out or the way back – and the discount can only be used to make a round trip on the next sailing.
