Can I take my bike on board?

Yes, you can. Bikes are free of charge to take on board but must be booked in advance due to limited space when you buy a foot passenger ticket especially on our FastCats. All bikes should be stowed on the car decks of our car ferries or the bike store on the FastCats as per our current practice where they can easily be monitored by our deck patrols and CCTV.

We don’t allow any small e-vehicles to travel on our ships or enter our customer buildings due to the growing number of reports from local and national fire services of fires caused by the batteries on this type of vehicle.

E-bikes, electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters are not affected by the ban as they are legally approved for use in the UK.  E-bikes, like all bicycles, are not permitted in the lounges onboard ferries.
