IOW Steam Railway: 1960s Weekend

Transport back in style to 1967 and celebrate all things Sixties with Isle of Wight Steam Railway.

For this weekend they’ve imagined that the age of steam survived on the Isle of Wight into 1967. Six Ivatt 2MT locomotives have been shipped to the Island to replace the elderly O2s. For this weekend only they’ll be renaming their two Ivatt locomotives continuing the Island tradition of naming locomotives after local towns and villages.

Soak up the Sixties with a stellar line-up of entertainment around the station. Dressing in clothes from the era is positively encouraged (but don’t worry if you don’t want to, all are welcome).
