This longer walk of 13 miles takes you from the foot of Mottistone to picturesque Shanklin Old Village. You’ll cover a variety of terrain, walking through ancient woodlands, across fields, rivers and farms, over the downs and along a disused railway line. The trail takes you close to Appuldurcombe House and you may want to make a detour to get a closer look before continuing.
