Season Tickets offer unlimited foot travel across the Solent for a set period of time on any of our three routes. Our quickest route – Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde Pier Head – takes just 22 minutes and has excellent rail connections on both sides.

Things you should know
You can buy and top up your Season Ticket online
Your Season Ticket will only be valid for one, named user. On occasion, you may need to show your ID (a passport, driving licence or HM Forces ID) to staff to prove you are the named user.
You can pay for your annual Season Ticket by Direct Debit but this can only be done through our Contact Centre.
The Wightlink app is great for managing your account and topping up your Season Ticket.
Extra benefits for Season Ticket holders
Special parking rates for 30 Day or longer Season Ticket holders. Discounted parking includes access to Ryde Pier without paying the toll charge.
Adult and Education and Training Annual Season Ticket holders get a Reward Pass for four complimentary vehicle single tickets, valid for 365 days, which can be shared with friends or family.
Adult and Education and Training 180 day Season Ticket holders get a Reward Pass for two complimentary vehicle single tickets, valid for 180 days, which can be shared with friends or family.

Parking Season Tickets
If you have a 30-day-or-longer Season Ticket, you can get a Parking Season Ticket, giving you a discounted fixed monthly rate for Wightlink-owned car parks.
These include access to Ryde Pier without paying the toll charge, using a Pier Entry Card.

How to get your Season Ticket
Season Tickets can be bought online – unless you’re paying by Direct Debit.
To help reduce our impact on the environment, we don’t issue plastic cards. Instead, your Season Ticket can be accessed and used through our app or you can use the paper ticket that will be issued to you.
If you’re buying online, your Season Ticket will be valid immediately. We’ll send your paper ticket and paper Reward Pass in the post.
If you have purchased either an Education and Training Season Ticket or a Student Season Ticket online, you will need to provide proof of entitlement, usually photo ID, the first time you use it. We accept valid:
NUS cards
Student Rider cards
UCAS
NUS Extra cards (for apprentices)
College and University photo ID cards with an expiry date
Teacher ID cards
For Education and Training and Student Season Ticket applications, you will need to be able to provide photo ID from the list above.
Direct Debit applicants will need to email a completed Direct Debit application form to [email protected] before calling our Contact Centre, on 0333 999 7333, to set up the Season Ticket.
Topping up
You can top up your Season tickets through the Wightlink app, online or over the phone. Season Tickets purchased by Direct Debit cannot be topped up online, unfortunately.
Using your Season Ticket
The easiest way to use your Season Ticket is using the Wightlink app. Simply show your ticket on your phone to staff when boarding.

Using your Season Ticket to book online
If you purchased your Season Ticket online, you’re already set up and ready to go, but if you bought yours in a Wightlink Ticket Office or over the phone, you might have to get in touch with us for it to work with online bookings. Simply fill out the Season Ticket form on our Contact Us page, making sure to state that you need your Pass setup for online use in the Message section. We’ll arrange everything for you and you can then login online.
When you’re ready you can make bookings using the Wightlink app by going to ‘New Booking’ and selecting ‘Click to book with a Ticket Pass’ before choosing your sailing time.
If you’d rather book on our website, select your sailing time and then tick ‘Book with a pass’. You’ll need to log in to your account when prompted and at the payment stage, choose the Season Ticket you’d like to pay with.
