Your Multilink Passenger Pass can only be used by the registered Pass holder. You might be asked to show photo ID on request when you check in.
How to buy your Multilink Passenger Pass
You can purchase a new Multilink Passenger Pass online using the link below. Once you’ve purchased your pass, you can download it onto the Wightlink app. If you’d prefer a paper ticket, contact us with the pass number and we’ll send you one.
When you travel, you may be asked to supply photo ID – a photo driving licence, passport or HM Forces ID card are all acceptable.
If you are purchasing a Student Multilink Passenger Pass, you’ll be asked to show your student ID when you travel – a valid NUS, Student Rider, UCAS, NUS Extra of IW College Student ID card will do.

Check-in rules
You can check in up to 15 minutes before your scheduled sailing
If you’ve booked accessible travel, please arrive at least 30 minutes before your crossing.
We’ll try and accommodate you on the next available sailing if you arrive up to two hours late, subject to space

Refilling your Pass
If you’d like to refill an existing pass with the same number of journeys that you previously purchased – 20 singles, for example – then you don’t need a new Multilink Pass. You can top it up online in your account section, through the Wightlink app, by phone or by visiting a Wightlink Ticket Office.
Unfortunately, once you’ve purchased a Multilink Passenger Pass, it cannot be upgraded to a different number of journeys. For example, a pass of 20 may only be topped up with another pass of 20. To get a different level of journeys, you’ll need to purchase a new pass.

If you’re a commuter or travel very frequently, you may find our Season Tickets offer better value for you.
Discounted parking
If you have a Multilink Passenger Pass of 60 singles, you can get a Parking Season Ticket, giving you a discounted fixed monthly rate of £80 for Wightlink-owned car parks.
These include access to Ryde Pier without paying the toll charge, using a Pier Entry Card, which you can pick up from our Ryde Pier Head Ticket Office.
