Wightlink welcomes customers to its Island Link Forum

Wightlink hosted customers at its latest Island Link Forum on Wednesday evening (20 Sept). It was held at the Royal Victoria Yacht Club, next door to the ferry company’s Fishbourne terminal.

Twenty four customers braved the torrential rain to meet managers, ask questions and express their views on many aspects of ferry travel.

Topics included the 2024 Wightlink timetable, its recent operational performance, pricing policies, Multilink Pass discounts, arrangements for people crossing the Solent for NHS appointments, connectivity between ferries and trains and the annual £6million refit and drydocking programme.

Commercial Director Phil Delaney says: “We enjoyed meeting customers who use all of our three routes, exchanging views and listening to their feedback. Questions were challenging and constructive and we took away several ideas for further consideration.”

The next Forum meeting will be held at Fishbourne on Thursday 7 December 2023. Customers will be emailed and invited to register in early November. A summary of discussions at the latest meeting will be posted online shortly at https://www.wightlink.co.uk/community/island-link-forum.
