Pick from our three routes

Take your pick from three conveniently-located ferry routes connecting Hampshire with the Isle of Wight. Our Portsmouth – Fishbourne route is ideal if you’re visiting Nodes Point, Landguard or Lower Hyde, each within half an hour’s drive from our port.

Lymington – Yarmouth is perfect for Thorness Bay and if you’re coming over to the Island on foot, our Portsmouth Harbour – Ryde Pier Head FastCat route will get you across the Solent in just 22 minutes.

Wightlink travel guides

If you’ve never travelled on a ferry before, you might not know what to expect when you turn up at one of our ports. How and where do you check in? If you’re bringing a car, how do get it on the ferry? What do you do if you want to bring your dog?

We want to make your Isle of Wight ferry travel as easy as possible, so we’ve put together some handy ‘how to’ guides for ferry travel on foot, by car, with your pet and with children.
