Returning by very popular demand, Jack Up Events are turning the clock back to the most defining decade of the 20th century signified by iconic fashion, symbolic historical moments and ground-breaking music.

Jack Up The 60s will bring back memories of the golden age of music brought to life live on stage by multi-talented 5-piece band THE ZOOTS.

9 – 17 May

An event for keen hikers, relaxed wanderers and curious explorers alike, the Isle of Wight Walking Festival offers a chance to meet new people and discover the many wonders of the Island.

With a plethora of walks across 9 days on offer to suit all abilities, this inclusive event will take you on guided tours of the Islands varied landscape, thriving wildlife and rich heritage.

Walk the Wight

10 May

Get ready for beautiful rolling hills, historic villages, natural landmarks and stunning coastal views. Choose from a variety of walks and distances, suitable for a variety of ages and abilities.

Every year, the event raises hundreds of thousands of pounds for Mountbatten, allowing the hospice to provide expert care and support to Island families when they need it most.

Legend – the Music of Bob Marley Live

16 May

Join Jack Up Events in Shanklin Theatre on the Isle of Wight for a night of legendary reggae music celebrating Bob Marley.

Enjoy recreated timeless hits such as could You Be Loved, Is This Love, One Love, No Woman No Cry, Three Little Birds, Jammin’, Buffalo Soldier and many more reggae classics.

Yarmouth Gaffers Regatta

22 – 25 May

Join in for the 30th anniversary of the Yarmouth Gaffers Regatta, a proper celebration of traditional gaff-rigged boats, community spirit and beautiful West Wight sailing.

Expect a lively mix of boat racing, social get-togethers and Cornish-Meets-the-Solent charm, all set against the maritime backdrop of Yarmouth harbour.

Ventnor Fringe Festival

17 – 26 July

The Island’s largest arts festival, Ventnor Fringe, returns with a packed programme spanning 10 days of music, comedy, cabaret, circus and visual arts.

Pick and choose whichever shows interest you, sample the bars, street food and markets or explore the vast Free Fringe with buskers and pop up shows across the town.

Isle of Wight Scooter Rally

21 – 24 August

One of the biggest events on the scooter calendar sees thousands of vintage scooters and their owners arrive on the Island for a weekend of music, custom shows and trade stalls, culminating in Sunday’s big ride out.

With many venues spread across Ryde and Sandown, don’t miss a visit to the main rally site at Sandown Airport – pop the postcode PO36 0JP in your sat nav for directions.

Wight Buggin'

12 – 13 September

Calling all Volkswagen enthusiasts! Wight Buggin’ returns this September, full of family fun and a lovely end-of-season opportunity to hangout with the V-Dubbers.

This family-friendly weekend offers three nights of camping, along with superb live performances from bands and music acts for everyone’s enjoyment.

Classic Motor Show

12 – 13 September 

It’s a must-visit for all petrol heads and history buffs, with the two-day charity event bringing together the best classic vehicles from all over the UK and Europe.

You’ll get to see an eclectic range of around 1,000 vintage, custom, retro and rare cars, taking you on a step back through time to the golden age of motoring.
