About

Conveniently located on the Isle of Wight for anyone visiting East and Central Wight, our Fishbourne port is a five minute drive from the town of Ryde and provides easy routes to southern parts of the Island. The port can be used by both car and foot passengers. Our flagship Victoria of Wight serves this port alongside St Clare and St Faith – Wight Sun also serves this port when required. Our Fishbourne port has state-of-the-art facilities allowing two-tier boarding onto the ferries, with regular crossings to Portsmouth.

Our Fishbourne port has a variety of facilities to your disposal, including a POLAR Network rapid charging point (50kwh) for electric vehicles, two tier boarding and bicycle racks.

    Our helpful staff at the Ticket Office will help you book and amend your ticket. We also have self-service ticket machines available.

The nearest bus stop is Kite Hill around 15 minutes’ walk away and is served by Southern Vectis bus Route 9, which links Newport and Ryde.

What to expect at the port

Upon arrival, our team will inspect your ticket and direct you to park in a lane ready to board the ferry. Feel free to use our port facilities but try to be back in your vehicle and ready to board at least 15 minutes before your booked sailing time.

When you are instructed to board the ferry, please follow the teams’ instructions. Switch off your headlights. When you drive on to the ferry the crew will direct you to a parking space on deck. Be aware of passengers walking across decks and other vehicles parking on board.
