We have three excellent routes to choose from and with up to 150 crossings a day, getting to the Isle of Wight couldn’t be easier.
You can travel by car on both our Portsmouth Gunwharf to Fishbourne and Lymington to Yarmouth routes and, if you’re travelling by foot, you can also choose our FastCat, which sails from Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde Pier Head. We’ve got the Island covered from east to west, so wherever you’re planning to go, whenever you’re planning to travel, there’s a Wightlink ferry going your way.
We have POLAR Network rapid charging points (50kwh) for electric vehicles at our Gunwharf, Fishbourne and Lymington ports. Our port on Ryde Pier Head also has a 7.2kwh charging point for those using the pier.
Isle of Wight Council provide Tourist Permits to anybody wishing to park in many pay and display locations across the Island without having to make a payment at each location. These permits are valid for many of the on and off street parking bays managed by the Council, bar a few exceptions.
Car permits are available in 2, 3, 5, 7 and 14 day varieties and can be purchased by PayByPhone. Visit the Isle of Wight Council website for more information and guidance on how to purchase.
