Wightlink has welcomed a team from Amey on board its new fuel-efficient Fishbourne to Portsmouth car ferry Victoria of Wight as part of an Island-wide tour to spread the festive waste reduction and recycling message.
A medley of Christmas carols sung by members of The Way Forward choir got a series of seasonal performance on board Wightlink’s ferries off to a rousing start.
Wightlink has teamed up with Lifelight – a new medical initiative using the latest technologies to reduce the cost of accurate patient monitoring – to give people the opportunity to check their blood pressure, heart rate and respiration rate.
Island runners competing in this year’s Simplyhealth Great South Run can take along their young supporters for free, thanks to a special ‘Kids Go Free’ offer from Wightlink.
