What to expect at the port

In your vehicle

When you arrive, follow the arrows to the booth and pull up – a member of our team will then check your ticket and tell you a lane number in which to park and wait for the ferry.

Feel free to use our port facilities but do try to be back in your vehicle and ready to go at least 15 minutes before your booked sailing time.

When you’re asked to board the ferry, please follow the team’s instructions. Switch off your headlights.

When you drive onto the ferry the crew will direct you to a parking space on deck. Be aware of passengers walking across decks and other vehicles parking on board. When exiting you must walk your bike off the ferry until clear of the loading barrier.

On foot

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled sailing time and head to the foot passenger boarding area, adjacent to the Customer Building.

When it’s time to board, a crew member will scan your ticket and you can head up to the passenger lounges.

If you’re bringing along a bicycle, please check in and wait by the vehicle boarding ramp and a member of staff will direct you.
