A message from CEO, Katy Taylor

As we look towards brighter days, I’m delighted to share a fresh mix of offers, updates and community initiatives created especially for Islanders and for friends and family who may be visiting you from the mainland.

This edition includes several ways to save, including 15% off short stays and longer breaks, 20% off foot travel and discounts on food and drink.

From April 2026, we are expanding our Yarmouth to Lymington timetable with a three‑boat service during busy periods.

This adds 868 sailings compared to last year’s timetable, giving you more choice as well as reducing congestion at peak times. Making travel simpler, whether you’re commuting, visiting loved ones or planning a day out.

Since March, all three Wight Class ferries on this route have been refurbished, with improved lounges and upgraded café facilities featuring more hot food to enhance every journey.

We are also introducing new support for Islanders who need to travel to the mainland for NHS appointments. Our free NHS journey planning service is now available to help you map out your full route, including ferry, bus, train or taxi, so you can travel with confidence at what can already be a stressful time.

You may have seen our recent campaigns highlighting the fantastic places to stay and explore on the Island.

Alongside this activity, we continue to work with local businesses, the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce, Visit Isle of Wight and other organisations to encourage more visitors. Together with our support for young people who are seeking educational and career opportunities off the Island, we remain committed to strengthening the local economy and community.

As always, your feedback is invaluable. It shapes our investment in ports, onboard facilities and customer service, helping us improve every part of the Wightlink experience. Thank you for your patience as we carry out essential infrastructure work, and for sharing your thoughts with us.

If you have any comments or suggestions, please email [email protected]. I hope you enjoy the offers and inspiration in this edition, and I look forward to welcoming you onboard soon.
